in Mission
The
Dominicans of the Province of St. Joseph the Worker,
Nigeria and Ghana have been serving the people of God
for nearly 60 years. Grounded in education, we have
constantly identified and met the needs of ever-changing
times. From building and staffing of schools and medical
centres, we have shared our gifts with the people as
preachers, teachers, writers and peace and justice co-ordinators.
It is through your contribution that we have been able
to do so much over the years; it is through your continued
support that we can remain faithful to our mission to
serve the people of God. And your generosity also allows
us to care for the many of our yound students in formation
and our retired brothers who have given most of their
lives to creating a better life for all whom they have
touched.
Many ways you can join us in celebrating and
affirming our mission:
:: We
have one major annula fund-raising event - the Society
for Vocation Support Luncheon in October.
:: You
can create a lasting testimony of your support to our
mission by designating a gift in your
will. Our incoporation name is: Order of Preachers.
:: Through
our Donor Mail Program we raise funds for our retired
brothers, our capital improvement
and our Ministry Support Fund.
:: We
have a memorial Gift Program that allows you to establish
a lasting memorial as a tribute to
a loved one.
We need your help to:
Educate our dedicated
students for the priesthood and brotherhood
Care for
our beloved retired friars.
Support
our ministries throughout Nigeria, Ghana and beyond
Keep the
preaching going.
No matter the size of the gift, your donation is greatly
appreciated by the Province of St. Joseph the Worker. |
