Who we are

The Dominicans (Order of Preachers) of the Province of St. Joseph the Worker, Nigeria and Ghana are a band of 150 men following in the footsteps of St. Dominic, dedicated to preaching the Gospel and bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to God's people in the West African Region of Nigeria and Ghana. It became a Province in 1993, under the patronage of St. Joseph the Worker. We are a young province without significant resources of endowment. Our financial and ministerial needs greatly exceed our resources. As mendicant preachers who depend on the support of our friends and benefactors, we turn to you for support.
